September Challenge: Day 8 ....

Rise.


It was a much more relaxed day today! But that did not allow for much photography!

We started the day attending my mom's church. It was a lovely service that featured a song my Dad wrote ~ Jesus' Hands. And the flowers on the alter were in his memory. Everyone was so welcoming.

After church we went back to mom's house to change and get ready to go to my oldest sister's house for a birthday cookout. We picked up my niece on the way out. Now that I think about it, I was wrong when I wrote yesterday that we went to her house to pick her up before the game. Well, they do say that the memory is the first thing to go!! LOL!

The drive out to B's house was fun ~ lots of twisty roads! And hills rising up from the ground! Sorry, that's all I have to offer for this challenge!

This would be our first visit to B's new house so when we got there we got the nickel tour. They have a really lovely home.

Great food and fellowship ensued. We had a great day ~ Thank you!
