Bright and Breezy
A very satisfactory day. I headed off west this morning to distribute cards and hopefully gather in a bit of spondulix. Being Ireland, you don't just zoom in and out. Time is taken, coffees (or ice creams) offered, the chat is forthcoming. I visited three places and must have spent a good 20 minutes at each. Subjects covered included the economy (dire, espcially electricity bills); the Rolling Stones (especially Ronnie Wood whose paintings were admired), crochet techniques (complicated), holistic cures for cancer (turmeric); pyrotechnics in Croke Park (it's an All Ireland Final there on Sunday and M is in charge of flames and explosions); swimming (F is swimming three times a day!) and the weather (Indian summer lasting another week).
It was so bright and breezy this afternoon so we decided to go out and watch some waves. We headed off to Gortnakilla and sauntered around the headland. It was pretty wild but exhilarating, and great colours.
Yes, a swim was taken and I'm not the only mad one, I passed two other people further on (wo)manfully blazing a trail in the surf.
And son#2 has just introduced me tothis musician - so beautiful, if you don't have time to hear it all wait for the ooooh aaaaahs :)
