Buddhist Girl with Incense

When this picture was taken I had made my way to Hong Kong, the penultimate stop on my tour of China. I was staying with some old family friends, and the mum of this family took some time out one day to show me the Big Buddha of Lantau Island, and at the little at the foot of the Big Buddha's mound I spotted this girl joining the throng of worshippers. By far the best picture I got of this event as the others were thoroughly obscured by a haze of smoke. This girl, however, was just on the edge of the crowd and so was just outside of the cloud. Also the first photo I've edited on my nexus, exploring new features such as localised contrast, which I've applied around the smoke.
