BYE MUMMY

Was genuinely a bit choked up saying goodbye to Mum, surprising as it's the first twinge of homesickness I live felt since I was 8 and was dropped in Kadimah for 2 weeks to sink or swim. Anyway, what followed was 22 hours of transit to get to Santiago, meeting a lovely combination of Americans and Chileans who told me all about engineering, bridal magazines, the regions of Chile, and what do to in the event of an earthquake and/or tsunami.
