Do me, do me!

Due to the vast amount of rain we have had recently my pond is now back up to normal level which means I have a much better chance of photographing the wildlife in there. I wanted to get a good one of the Water Boatmen but they are very flighty creatures and the slightest move sends them scurrying off. All the time this hoverfly was buzzing around me and at one point actually landed on the camera. He then just perched on the edge as if to say 'here I am' so I thought he deserved to be todays blip.
