The bright lights

This is as close as it gets here to the big city - tonight we promenaded around the main square in the 'capital' village, then had a gorgeous dinner in a beautiful restaurant.

Municipal care for the environment is evidenced here too: as you can see, the streetlights are all designed to minimise light pollution so we can make the most of the starry nights!
