Cultural Tradition
We went to the wedding of the daughter of one of M's clients. He rebuilt their farmhouse a few years ago and the wedding was on the farm.
I had never met the bride. She was clearly her mother's daughter: warm and generous.
So, I didn't know too many people there, which let me think about one of the purposes of weddings: for the observers to be reflective of their own unions.
The ceremony and celebration were outdoors. It was a little wet and a little windy, but not too bad. G came with us and she had a fantastic time with her cousins and new friends as they collected acorns that were falling from a majestic oak tree on the property.
Good opportunity to take a picture of M and G dressed up!
