Farmers Market

Went for a short walk around the corner from our apartment and some of the roads had been blocked off and a farmers market set up. It was an eye opening experience, there were lots of fruits and vege stalls, honey and cheese and also heaps of meat stalls..all out in the open, horse, pig and lamb mostly, some were being chopped up right in front of us. Enough to put one off eating meat for life. Definitely not buying my meat there…watched as everyone picked over it and touched it…yuk. Apparently these markets are a regular occurrence, not sure how regularly, they even had live music, quite a festival atmosphere.
