Just a beautiful ........

......... sunrise this morning - and the opportunity for a nicely detailed contre-jour shot!

Taken at 06.52 today - I'm lucky in that this water tower, bristling with radio masts and antennae, is less than a fifteen minute walk from the house and the sun rises behind it - so off I trotted with my camera.

The only post-processing was a narrow slice off the bottom of the shot - the colours really were that intense.

I confess to being somewhat (happily) surprised at the comments and the stars my abstracty vase photo attracted yesterday - thank you so much for taking the time and making the effort.


This date last year I had started practising for "the" wedding .... official photographer for the first (and probably last) time - it actually did all go pretty well - if you have the time please take a peep >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
