GOD IS NOT DEAD...

...but she has been busy entertaining her Canadian visitors this week, among other things, and has been blipidle.

We had a wonderful time with Bob and Sharon, who live in the prairies and have not been to the UK before. It is great seeing one's country through strangers' eyes - I appreciate all over again the wonder of dry stone walls, fields full of sheep, and hedgerows full of berries. In spite of the rain, I would not want to live anywhere else.

We've loved hearing about Bob and Sharon's early lives on remote homesteads in the prairies - outside toilets, large families, lots of love but not a lot of possessions, having to leave home for schooling. A bit like my childhood, in fact, except I had brambles.
