Cross Country season

We had our first race today with the team and they did pretty well although it was a shock to the system for the newbies. However they would have been really shocked if they had to run what I consider a 'proper' cross country race like the ones I used to do as a kid back in the North East of England where you had to accept the possibility of losing a spike and being covered in mud!
Today's race was held on a beautiful estate with the start and finish in front of a chateau. Lovely for the runners and spectators.
