Unconventional technique...

Have you ever, in all your life, seen someone lift a camera and try to use it like this?! It seems to work for Sean :)

Tonight we were out for dinner to celebrate our friend Geraldine's birthday. I've heard other friends telling me that suddenly, at about my age, you start to find yourself at parties full of babies, but I didn't think it would happen to us for a long time yet! Geraldine is the first of our group of friends to have a kid, but it seems that all of her other friends have babies too, and some are onto baby number 2, so the place was full of them. Everywhere I looked I saw another one. Then there were four of us, the childless ones, at the table on the end, trying to ignore the fact that everyone is growing up around us!

As cute as all of the babies were, I was very happy to be at the childless table, having a laugh without having to worry about feeding or nappies or screaming kids - long may it last! :)
