Saturday At The Market

Since I usually arrive in Bloomington on a Friday, our traditional first stop on Saturday is the Bloomington Farmers' Market. It's an overwhelming gathering of wonderful things to eat, entertainment to watch and specialty homemade items. There's a large representation there of the Amish community and I thought this young man was a wonderful subject. He was working in his family's produce stand with his brother who, by the way, was just as cute as he is. We came home laden with fresh veggies and homemade jelly. Dinner was a stir fry with the veggies, one of which was one I've never heard of, Candy Sweet Onion. Being a huge onion fan, I was in heaven with that one. Breakfast tomorrow will be a fresh bagel with the homemade jelly. No complaints so far.
