Outside the Art Gallery.

It's been a great day. Breakfast at Starbucks, then a ride on the skytrain to downtown Vancouver. My main place of interest was the Art Gallery, where it was advertised that a show of Emily Carr was on display! We paid our $20 and headed up to the 4th floor (the only other choice was the 3rd....the other 2 were closed!), only to find that there were 7 paintings on display! Major disappointment for sure! However, we were not deterred! We got ourselves down to the water front, where we had a great ride over to Granville Island - a very funky place full of outdoor vendors, and markets. got ourselves some great grub to bring home to cook dinner tonight! Riding on the little water taxi is such a lovely way to travel.

Another lovely day with my daughter....couldn't be better!
