Fine dining....

More new skills to add to my CV; today John and I spent hours setting up the dining room for the big function on Saturday. I ironed table cloths (while they were on the table?!) then polished and laid out cutlery and glassware. The room looked great when we were finished, if I do say so myself!

Andrew our host gives us some food each day for lunch and dinner, sometimes it is a rather random combination of things and we feel like we are on Ready, Steady, Cook trying to put something together at meal times. Tonight though we got some sausages, roast potatoes and some cauliflower, so we feasted like kings (well, in comparison to our previous budget, backpacker meals a least), plus we got a free beer each, result!
