Bypass and back!

Longest run yet (since 1984 that is!) earlier this morning ...

... managed to get all the way out to the Edinburgh Bypass, and back - along my favourite canal, of course :-)

Just shy of 8-miles, and managed to keep to 10-mins/mile.

It was an absolutely glorious morning here in Edinburgh, and this is the view coming back into town, looking over to the edge of the Pentland Hills just after I turned around at Bridge Number 8 on the canal! Stunning.

So, today's figures:

Date: 22/9/13
Height: 6 ft 4inches
Weight: 15stone 10pounds
Distance run: <8-miles
Pace: 10-mins/mile

That's three 10K/+10K runs, over the last three Sundays - getting a bit serious now!

Anyhow, as ever, all the details on why I'm undertaking this mild-insanity can be found here.

And if you want to sponsor me - which will help the wonderful Venture Scotland, and also help to keep my motivation up! - then all the relevant details are here :-)
