"A Pair Of Scallywags"...

...Yes they are!

... Our two grand daughters - 15 and 7 who are visiting from Queensland for the School holidays and we promised them a boat cruise today and they made the most of it, as did we...

...And so much fun we all had today on the Boat Cruise from Wentworth, just over the border into New South Wales, across the river I photograph so often about half an hour from where we live..

...It was a 3-hr luncheon cruise (which went down well)... with commentary, and the skipper and the head Bar lady, who happens to be the Skipper's wife, gave us all on the boat entertainment with their wonderful singing...so talented and the girls were most impressed, they weren't expecting live entertainment... The other Bar lady took over as Skipper whilst we enjoyed the keyboard music and duo singing..

...We can highly recommend the trip on this lovely little river boat, and so can the girls they told me - and even though there were mostly retirees on board today, and no other younger children - that didn't matter, they were very much at home amongst we oldies..

...Not many river birds today, they must have all gone fishing I think - there were just a few pelicans amongst the gums along the riverbank...but that didn't matter either, it was just exciting being there, all together riding along on the river Murray...

And tomorrow - another adventure - we survived today, and so here comes tomorrow...
