Something written ...

HeartFreek's September Challenge.

Our 10 year old niece has been staying with us this weekend so we've been very busy keeping her amused. Today it was agreed that we would visit Beamish Museum. I tend to visit every couple of weeks as I have an unlimited pass, turns out she does too, guess I'll have a little visitor on each of my future trips!

We tried our hand at pottery and shaping chair legs on a lathe. We then bumped into Mam and Dad who had had the same idea of making the most of the sunshine. We headed to the Fish and Chip shop for lunch and had "Dab and Chips" wrapped in newspaper. I'm not sure if this is a Northern thing but I have certainly not heard of them called this before, maybe I'm too young ...
