Anniversary cake

This is the cake I made for my parents' 48th Anniversary. My mum just wanted one of my cakes, so that's my gift to them!

A bit of a challenge because here in Barcelona I don't have all the tools I have in Edinburgh to make my life easier, but I managed!

It's been a quiet day. I went to the beach in the morning, which was heaving with people, by the way. Far too many people for my taste! Then, after lunch I spent a few hours finishing this cake. My mum was very happy with it!

Now I have to make sure I have a taste before I leave Barcelona!
