Not Fade Away

On a warm mornings walk which took me through Whippingham churchyard I noticed from afar an astonishing bunch of faded roses. At first glance it looked like a very elaborate metal sculpture but on closer inspection they were in an advanced state of decay.

Forgetting all about a healthy walk I spent a good 45 minutes taking close ups of the amazing textures much to the bewilderment of a visiting coach party.
