NEW PNEUS

Coming up the hill yesterday we hit the same a pothole we have been hitting since we arrived. This time the pothole bit back. I said nothing. There was one car-sized patch of flat tarmac which we managed to reach to change the tyre.

This morning we hobbled down on the emergency spare and found the one English speaking employee at Mr Roady. They couldn't match the other front tyre so two new ones were fitted, and G did not drive anywhere near that pothole again. Horse, stabledoor, etc.

On a happier note, the 2 front tyres were soon to be replaced anyway and they were a lot cheaper in France.

The rest of the day was spent pottering, basking in the sun, and reading.

I'd rather like a mouse like this.
