Treasure Hunt

It was the annual treasure hunt at school this afternoon. Although they had planned for poor weather we were blessed with warm sunshine so people brought picnic blankets and picnics.

This year it was all inside the school grounds. There were items to identify and map on the plan of the school (luckily Carys has been doing mapping in geography), information hidden around the school to find and questions to answer as to where certain things were in the school and it's grounds.

We managed to find all the answers but it took us over an hour and a half. The kids enjoyed it and the cakes that were on sale too. This was taken after we had finished, Carys was off with her friends on the play frame on the far side of the field and William was happily making music on the outdoor instruments.

Embarrassingly we actually won the treasure hunt. Carys got the prize from Mrs Driver. Two tickets to Shepreth Wildlife Park, not bad for £4 entry and I will be honest, I may work in school but Carys had more idea where most of the things were than I did.
