Soldier William

Today was a William and Mummy day (and a Carys and Daddy day). William and Mummy hopped on the train to London. We wandered through Green Park and up the Mall to Horse Guards. He stood patiently watching, waiting and then watching the Changing of the Guard on Horse Guards (it was far too busy down by 'the Queen's house'). We had a picnic lunch in St. James's park and then headed into the Household Cavalry Museum. William loved trying on the uniform although he did say it was very heavy and he wouldn't let me let go of the breastplates as he didn't think he would be able to stand up wearing it!

After that we wandered through the streets, it was Open House weekend (must do that next year) so there were a lot of people and he was really well behaved and held my hand the whole time. We stopped for coffee in Covent Garden and then caught a very slow bus back to Kings Cross.

Sorry about the quality of the photo but the little camera seems to have died. It is massively over exposing everything with lines running through the shots, even after reformatting the card. So until I replace it it will be the big Canon or the phone camera I am afraid. Sony Rx100 v Canon S110 or S100, answers on a postcard...
