Blackberries

The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and it was a perfect day to go blackberry picking. The brambles were bursting with blackberries - both ripe and not-so-ripe - which suggests we're in for a harsh winter, according to my mum.

This afternoon I made the near-half-kilogram of fruit I picked into blackberry jam which is currently cooling in the kitchen. Click here to see my mum's blip of the finished product!
