Self Portrait #2

Attempting to act on the comments and critiques of last weeks b+w self portrait - avoiding shadows over the eyes by facing the light more directly and including plenty of texture to make the most of the b+w (my blow-dried "lion hair" (as Ryan calls it) may actually be useful for something, who knew?!). Not entirely happy with my lack of neck in the shot... making it look as my head is floating. Meh.

Comments/critiques are really very much appreciated. I'd love to actively attempt to improve shooting b+w portraits. Who knows, in time I might grow the balls to unleash my camera upon the faces of others in a more refined, artistic way than me leaping at them yelling "SMILE!"...
