A last day of freedom!

My last day without mum .. and my first bird class of the academic year .. we went to Kilnsea, and saw flocks of waders and this rather windswept egret .. then on to see some ringing ..

And a quick visit to the canal scrape hide where I saw this rather gorgeous bottom!

In the afternoon I had a slow amble around Sunk Island where I saw this kestrel ..

Now home to try to get rid of junk from around the house before mum's return!
