Cote d'Azure

Day 3
Our cabin is on the 9th deck at the very front of the ship. Each morning I am wakening up in a different place with stunning views and today it is the French Riviera, playground of the rich and famous. Did very little again today, sooooo relaxing. Missed breakfast!! Managed lunch the food is amazing so fresh and tasty, I don't cook much but I love my food!! Went up to the top deck were all the sports stuff is, mum not too keen on the top deck, too high. The corridor leading onto the deck was covered in old fashioned cycling pictures and images of the Tour de France, my Dad would have loved it. My mum shed a wee tear. We never went back to the top deck, not to sure if that was intentionally or not. Sat by the pool read my Kindle and sampled the cocktail if the day a Nice sunset , a cocktail of vodka, peach schnapps, Chambord black raspberry liqueur cranberry and pineapple juice - very refreshing and very strong. Didn't go to dinner tonight as we went to see a show, ENCORE an ice show spectacular, I'm not into ice skating but this show was pretty spectacular with the amazing costumes and music. Early night tonight as off to see Florence tomorrow.
