mind the gap........

the London Underground - an incredible feat of engineering and one of the main things I love about London, but very glad that I don't have to travel that way every day


Today I had a Mickey D breakfast (I know, I know!!) and then it was off to Mayfair for a drink at Cecconi's ( I adore this place and one day I'll even order some food!) then along the Holloway Road for lunch at El Molino (very pleasant), then another wander around town and off to Balthazar in Covent Garden for supper (lovely looking restaurant and enjoyable food with excellent service (probably due to the company I was in!)). Lastly, I went into The Ivy for an Aperol Spritz nightcap (not the best visit I've ever had; barman, watch your back!).
