Autumn?
What a difference a day makes! Back to a very dreich day in Aberdeenshire, fog and drizzle and top temperature of 10 degrees, compared with wall-to-wall sunshine in Turunc and 30+. Quite a shock to the system! As was work!
Since we left at the beginning of September it seems that autumn has rapidly descended on our garden and the countryside with many of the trees in fall colours, and my pots and baskets looking very sorry for themselves. No complaints though as this summer of 2013 will be remembered fondly in the same way as 1976 - exceptionally warm and sunny and dry. Let's hope the feel good factor lasts a wee bit longer!
