Hey you, get off my rose !

Lovely sunshine now, after a misty start to the day. My garden is full of bugs - wasps, spiders and this horrid little shield bug that was on my new rose.

Sadly there are no ladybirds in sight. And haven't been for most of this year.

My lone butterfly this morning must have seen me approaching with my camera - for it fluttered quickly over the wall.....
