I was scared witless by the first ride, we were soaked to the skin on the second, I threatened to never speak to B again after I was persuaded to go on the "eagle", all in all a great day. We had a look round Dolly's tour bus, watched some of her family singing (with various degrees of success), bought the T-shirt.

Whatever you may think of camp theme parks or Dolly Parton in general, there is no denying that she has boosted the economy in Pigeon Forge and created hundreds of jobs for local people. And every child born in the County receives a book a month until they are five years all courtesy of DP herself - she gets my vote, even if I have been put off roller coasters for life.
