SnowDrops Signal of Spring

These are some of the delicate snowdrops which are coming up around the dead looking winter garden. I dont know what they are called actually but thats what we called them as children. A delicate promise of the potential under the ground. I loved the way the low winter sun shone right through them in the early morning. Shows off their beauty and detail nicely. They seem to have a high water content which you can visibly see in the light.
