Nigerian Fingerprints Map!

Monday is our Nigerian Independence Day Celebration (the tailor came for my measurements today...) so this week is all about Nigeria. We made 4 A2 sized maps and decorated them like Nigerian flags - green white green. One was done with glitter, one group did painting, one group collage and one group with me, fingerprinting. The children had to show me their index finger and point to the map and tell me that it was a map of Nigeria before fingers were allowed into paint (I came up with a VERY annoying song 'This is a map, this is a map, this is a map, of..Nigeriiiaaa' which helped).

Busy day, but relieved that it was not as distressingly stressful as yesterday. FRIDAY TOMORROW!!! Weeks are flying, which is good, but there is SO much to do, and I can't believe deadlines and dates are approaching so fast. Parents' Evening is October 4th.....AHHHHHH.

Time to sleep.
