New friend

This little guy tried to share a bath with me this morning at the unfortunate hour of 5am...he also rested on my hairbrush - if he'd not been seen before I brushed my hair, he definitely wouldn't have been seen again.

Craziest day at work so far. Headache so bad I got double vision!!! Most children in class we have had so far...so many voices, hands and bodies and not enough space...

It will all settle soon.....I hope!!

Things are settling in Kenya but hearts are still sombre and in shock. Thoughts and prayers are there, and 30 days today to go until I am. Looking forward to seeing James a lot - a 2 hour time difference is not a lot, but when we both have very busy days, 7pm here is 9pm there and suddenly we are both so tired that the energy from the day to have a conversation about it is low. Saying that, we are still doing very well and he is the best support for being in a place like this on my own.

I really hope things calm down here, I cannot face a midlife crisis in my 20s!!! I can't seem to find enough time in the day to sit down, let alone eat, drink, relax and start planning for tomorrow..
