Although it is lovely to live in a place where there are animals everywhere, there are dangers. This stretch of road has a sign up notifying people of the number of animal deaths each year in the forest.
Lots of these could be avoided if motorists stuck to the speed limit. Night-time can be especially dangerous.
Yesterday a beautiful horse was struck by a car and killed outright, in our village. It was a total accident, and devastating for everyone involved. So sad...there is nothing else to say.
