Steel leaf

When I park my car at the office on sunny mornings, there are endless opportunities to capture nature. This leaf is from a tree next to where I park. The tree produces enormous white 'birds of paradise' but at first site, you would think it was a banana tree.

I am off to have a picnic with Daniel at his school and then run off to pick Njambi from her school. Looks to be a very busy weekend!

I was informed yesterday that I shall be sitting on stage with two others for church on Sunday as they 'interview' us about our involvement with various church activities. I already have a bit of stage fright but I am assured that the bright lights prevent you from seeing the few hundred people seated in the congregation...Lord have mercy!
