Because I refuse to take pictures of my food
We went to the "peace festival" downtown, and then out for a lunch that T and I enjoyed more than J...
Then to a hot hot park for a bit, and J and I went out in the evening for dinner and a movie - movie was Blue Jasmine... it was good, but far from Woody Allen's best (which, J assured me, he probably knew). Sometimes his scripts are a little unbelievable, but he always finds actors who are convincingly neurotic enough to pull them off.
Dinner, however, was amazing. J took me to 'D Bar'. The D is for dessert, but their mains were awesome as well! Had a delicious iceberg wedge salad with 'tobacco onions' (new discovery, yum!) and blue cheese dressing, and then d=mc^2, an awesome dessert featuring peanut butter, salted caramel, and chocolate icecream, and i wish I'd taken a goshdarn picture of how imaginative and beautiful (not to mention delicious) it all was!
PS this one's kind of for Gabbi, Tim and Chez. I like to keep the jokes going till they're boring!
