Blipmeet #6: Lacock

This time CleanSteve and Woodpeckers came over to my patch to visit Lacock and we met in the NT car park. Naturally we visited Lacock Abbey and began with a wander through the botanic garden, and on to the orchard. There were juicy apple windfalls on the ground and a tabby kitten, possibly one of the pair I had photographed outside the church on a previous visit. We went up to the brook and grotto and then on to the Abbey, starting with the cloisters and then doing the tour of the Abbey, the bookshop and brewery.

We had a lovely lunch in the garden of At The Sign Of The Angel and had a walk around the village, where we encountered these three horses in a field standing by the stile that leads from the road.
