Red sandstone

We went for a walk on the beach at Auchmithie, one of our favourite places. The movie "Under the Skin" starring Scarlett Johansson recently filmed there for four days. The cliffs are of red sandstone and so is this stretch of rock on the shoreline. It has been weathered quite beautifully by the waves.
