Pretty Plaster Prints
Pretty hand prints lovingly made by my mother or my kid's teacher's in Sunday school or grade school. I have found them in one place or another and am putting them together on one shelf. I might find more. who knows?
I found one made by my own mother when going through "things". What a surprise as I did not even know it had been made. It said on the back "Marjorie Marie age 4 months". Then looking further, I found prints of my own children. One of the really cute things is the little cat face in clay made by Wendy. I remember the day she brought it home from nursery school. She handed it to me and said. "Here mom, I made this with my own little hands".
We had a friend who had a pottery studio and she always welcomed the kids in for a special day. Son David loved to go there and he specialized in making funny faces in clay. I found this one the other day and added it to my collection of hand prints.
I am sure many people have similar treasurers. Like pictures we take of family, they remind us of special times and special people. The large hand print is one of my daughter's when she was teaching an art class to show kids how to make a hand print. I keep them all and love them all.
