Oban

Me and R went out for the day to Oban, which is about 30 miles north from where we are. We visited the Oban whisky distillery - I don't even like whisky but found the experience very interesting. Who'd have thought there was so much involved in the making of whisky!

We had lunch and coffee out. In a real restaurant! That's a first in weeks.

We visited shops. Real shops! And saw many people! What an invigorating experience and a change from the centre.
