Bottoms and buds

Trying to think 'outside the box' after deciding to take an online photography course and I came across this little set of Japanese Anenome buds in the grounds of the college where I work during my lunch break today...complete with a delicate cobweb....so intent was I in trying to capture the web when taking several pics for my Blip today that I hadn't even seen the Garden Orb spider carefully tucked in amongst the buds until I looked back at the pics I had already taken..... I just had to make that the focus of my shot and yet not do just a head on centre shot.... I am quite pleased with this, even though the focus isn't as sharp as I would like, and I still caught the web.... and that lovely orb bottom, trying to pretend he's a bud.

I also managed to catch a squirrel nipping across the top of the fence and had fun with students, playing Jeronimo and Twister in the last day of the Fresher's Fayre and with the sun shining brightly it has been a great week, but as I can only choose one shot for my blip, I decided to go with this one.
