Day 1: hailstorms and puddlejumping

Straight out today. No moping. Dad built the boys' bed in our bedroom, and Mum took us down to the village with Bean's bike and its actual wheel, to get new tyres bought and fitted. Called in at the butchers and got trapped as it suddenly started hailing. Bean thought this was funny and went out to run around in it! Had to run between shops in between showers but made it back to the car without getting too wet.

The sun was out again by the time we were home so we got wellies and raincoats on and went out puddlejumping!

The boys were insanely happy to see daddy when he got home :-)
