.......crash, bang, wallop........

Another hugely busy day at work..........the highlight of which was a beer....in the sunshine....with hebs and a few others after work.

The Boss stayed after work to go for a Chinese banquet with some of her mates.....the Daughter was going out...........so I went to the gym.....big mistake....never go to the gym when you're tired.......got through the treadmill, the seated row, the bike, the leg curls, the chest press, the hand bike....and then came the cross trainer....4 minutes in to my 10 minute session I ran into a brick wall....everything stopped working....the knees went...and the shoulders....and I had to stop.

Never had that before....when I was a 400m county champion I used to train by racing two 200m runners round the track ....no problem.....I used to run 20 times round the 400m track alternating 200m flat out and 200m jogging...no problem.....I used to run 400's at half pace with lead weights attached to my ankles...no problem....but tonight....crash..... I hit the wall.

Weird feeling....now the Boss is home and everything aches....early night I think.
