Landscape gardening!

Our first day of work at the vineyard. My picture is of our handy work, we had to lay some weed matts, cover with some wood chips and then make a rock boundary. We were quite impressed with our efforts! We then dug some weeds and finished by 3pm. It has been a gorgeous, sunny day and it is such a beautiful place, that it s a pleasure to be outside working. Sue, our host, is wonderful and really looks after us, I think she feels sorry for us after our stories of Highden Manor! Sue and Wim are off to Auckland for a gala event this evening, as their Pinot Noir has won another prize! So we have their lovely home to ourselves for the weekend.
