Martinborough

Sue and Wim have left us their car to use while they are away, so John and I decide to take a trip into Martinborough town. We pop into a liquor store and the lady working there may be drunk even though it is only around 11am, and she talks like she has a mouth full of marbles. John refers to her as marble lady for the rest of the day, lol! She follows us around the shop offering us advice about the local area, which might have been helpful if we could have fully understood her! We spend a short while looking around the little town, a lot of shops seem to be closed, then I take our lives into my hands and to drive back. After lunch we head to the lookout point that Sue has told us about. The path is not clearly marked so of course we spend over an hour being lost and going round in circles. Being followed by a herd of cows and getting stared at by a rather large and scary looking bull does not help matters! We eventually find the path and reach the top of the hill which over looks the hills of Martinborough, very beautiful.
