Desert Squirrel

Choppy lake

On Lake Forsyth this morning, black swans and their cygnets were bobbing around in the chop resulting from a strong westerly wind. A few shafts of light through the overcast brightened them a little. The rest of the day was rather dull and windy for our NPSNZ field trip to Montgomery Park on Banks Peninsula. We enjoyed the day, but I didn't get any more interesting shots.
