under the stars

tonight i made a trip into boston to feed my new fetish and to partake in some semblance of a social life. i really saw what a pleasure this town can be. aside from the stress of applications and school and research and feeling so very far away, i watched the sun come down over the charles river this evening and danced with a group of almost strangers. afterwards, we walked through through the plush park and small brick-lined streets to find a suitable New England style pizza for dinner - followed of course by a ten block walk for the best smoothie in town.

it was lovely. and not at all touristy. i live here now.
