Local Gems

The recent scandal over horse meat has hopefully meant many people re-thinking where they buy their meat from, they want to know where it’s from etc. So today I headed to the Uplands Farmers Market in Swansea this morning, a great little market with so many local producers of meats, cheese and bread and also crafts such as paintings, pictures and carvings. I picked up some great produce from this stall and the verdict tonight was that it was full of flavour and delicious, and never again will they buy supermarket stuff. Buy and support your local producers, like me you might find some gems!
