Staghorn Sumac
Autumn is beginning to have its effect on the staghorn sumac tree at the bottom of the garden. In another couple of weeks, it will be a mass of reddish gold, lighting up the that part of the garden.
We had an accurate weather forecast today - showers, some heavy, and cloudy for most of the day. I worked on pictures this morning, whilst listening to Radio Four - really good set of programmes on a Saturday morning - and Mrs Mikey had a lie in to recover from being on Prayer Pastor duty till two thirty in the morning.
Listened to the Spurs/Chelsea match while she did her domesic goddess bit and did some baking, then we went for a cup of tea and a cake at the local garden centre (oh the excitement!)
At the moment, I'm listening to music through the headphones as wife and daughter are engrossed in Strictly Come Dancing - as I'm sure a lot of others are!
